Teresa Lain and partner Helen Newport won Gold at the weekend in the Women's lightweight double sculls at the three day National Rowing Championships at Nottingham Holme Pierrepont.
Stroke Teresa Lain of Loughborough Boat Club and Helen Newport of Nottingham and Union led the six lane field in the semi-finals from start to finish. This feat was repeated in the Final. They crossed the line in 8:01 minutes beating Kingston into second place by 5 seconds.
