The 1993 Women's Coxed Four
The crew of Jessica Rigg, Hel Podmore, Teresa Lain and Tracy Lowe opened their Regatta campaign with success at the Shrewsbury Regatta. The crew won the sprint Regatta by beating Warwick Boat Club by a canvas.

After winning Women's Senior III at Shrewsbury
The crew who were coached by club captain Edward Lowe then went on to win at the Northwich Regatta. Here they beat the local crew in the Final by three lengths.

After winning at Shrewsbury and Northwich the crew entered the Ironbridge Regatta. Ironbridge is a two day event and on the first day the racing is over 1000 metres. On reaching the Final Loughborough beat Oundle School Boat Club easily.

On the second day the crew , who had won three events at Senior III now had to row at the higher level of Senior II. Rowing at this level made no difference to the crew and over the 600 metres course Loughborough beat Eton Excelsior by nearly two lengths.

The next Regatta entered was at Bewdley. On the first day the women rowing at Senior II beat the Stourport crew by half a length. After this win the women now had enough points to move to Senior I. On the shorter course on the second day at Bewdley the women were beaten by the eventual winners Pengwern in the semi-final.

The crew next visited Stourport Regatta and beat Hereford in the Final by a canvas.

The crew finished off their season with a Senior I win at York Sprint Regatta this time beating Durham by two thirds of a length.
