In the first of the Autumn Head races, where boats race in processional style over a longer timed course. Sarah Mee put in an excellent performance at Chester Long Distance Sculls to win the Women’s Senior 2 Single Sculls and Katja Lange just missed out by a fraction of a second to a local Royal Chester sculler in the Women’s Junior 16 event.
Back at the Club’s base at County Bridge, Hathern the youngsters who took part in various taster sessions over the summer are progressing rapidly and will no doubt be adding to the Cub’s wins next year.
