Loughborough Boat Club
Loughborough Boat Club's Double Scull pairing of Ruth Amos and Clare Wilson gained two more wins at Ironbridge Regatta. They have now built a run of four consecutive wins, and are unbeaten since first racing together just three weeks earlier.

On Saturday they overcame opposition from Peterborough and Bristol Ariel to reach the final of the Women's Senior III Double Sculls against another Peterborough crew. They got off to a flying start on the 1000m course, settled into a comfortable lead and crossed the line several lengths ahead of their rivals.
Their win meant they had to go up a category on Sunday and took on Stourport in the Final of the Senior II Double Sculls event. They put in a strong performance again, in a much closer race over the shorter 500m course, and gained a 3/4 length lead by the finishing line.
The Club had two more wins over the weekend regatta, both in coxed Fours.
On Saturday, the Senior I Mixed Fours of Caroline Lomax, Keith Hudson, Alan Perry and Mary Carswell, coxed by Charlie Horner gained a comfortable victory over Tyne.
On Sunday Caroline Lomax, Mary Carswell, Clare Wilson, Jo Coulson and cox Charlie Horner won the Women's Veteran B Four race. They got ahead after a strong start and gained their third veteran win of the season with a one and a half length win over Warwick.
