Loughborough Boat Club
Loughborough Boat Club enjoyed another weekend of success as the Veteran B Men's Eight struck gold at the National Veterans Regatta at Holme Pierrepont.
The crew of Alan Perry, Keith Hudson, Simon Hill, Chris Logan, Jerome Mason, Andy Martin, Chris Smith and Mike Lunn, coxed by Charlie Horner, managed to hold on to their narrow lead over Agecroft to win by 0.6 seconds over the 1000m course.
The Women's Veteran B Four of Caroline Lomax, Clare Wilson, Jo Coulson and Mary Carswell again coxed by Charlie took the silver at the same event.
